Signaletics for the new Marienhöfe Urban Quarter in Berlin-Tempelhof

The new Marienhöfe urban quarter is being developed on the former railway and DIY store site, covering around ten hectares, on Attilastraße in the Tempelhof district. The construction group Goldbeck is building eleven residential and commercial buildings here for the investor Hines, comprising around 900 flats, a neighbourhood centre with multifunctional uses, and a connecting outdoor area offering a high quality of life.

Beate Kling GmbH has been awarded the contract for Signaletics. Based on the design concept for the neighbourhood developed by the architectural practice collignon Architektur, Signaletics is being planned and implemented for the extensive outdoor area, the underground car park, and the 12 buildings, featuring a high proportion of fabric elements and a structured advertising concept. To meet the highest environmental standards, barrier-free wayfinding with sustainable signage forms part of the DGNB Gold certification target.
